What is stored on your device

All of the following is written to this device's private app storage and is readable only by the app. None of it is transmitted anywhere.

• Board results — which boards you cleared, taps used, marks earned, attempts, and whether you finished without hints or undos.
• Preferences — sound, music, haptics, appearance, chosen palette, calm animation and backdrop visibility.
• Daily streak data — your current and best streak, and the dates of dispatches you have solved.
• Cached solar readings — roughly the last forty-five days of sunrise, sunset and daylight figures, so the app works offline.
• An optional backdrop photo — if you choose one, stored as a single compressed image.

What leaves your device

Exactly one kind of network request is ever made: a call to the Open-Meteo public weather API requesting sunrise, sunset, daylight duration and sunshine duration.

The coordinates in that request belong to a fixed roster of forty world cities compiled into the app. Your own location is never requested, read or transmitted — the app has no location entitlement whatsoever. The request carries no identifier, no account, no advertising ID and no device fingerprint. Open-Meteo receives an ordinary anonymous web request.

Camera and photo library

The app asks for camera or photo access only at the moment you tap Camera or Photos in the Collection tab, and only to set a decorative backdrop behind the puzzle board. The chosen image is downscaled, compressed and written to the app's private storage. It is never uploaded, shared, or read by anything outside the app, and you can delete it at any time. Declining these prompts leaves every other feature fully usable.

Notifications

Reminders are optional and are scheduled locally by iOS on your device. There is no push server, so no message about you is ever sent anywhere. You can turn them off in the Dispatch tab or in iOS Settings at any time.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and contains no user-generated content, chat, social features or purchases. Because it collects no personal data at all, it collects none from children either.

Your controls

Settings → Reset progress immediately erases every board result, mark, streak, cached reading and the backdrop from this device. Deleting the app removes the same data. Because nothing is ever stored on a server, there is no remote copy for us to delete on your behalf, and no data export to request.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here and shipped inside the app, and the version stamp above will change. Material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes.
